Ridiculas decision to sell.

Really cheesed off with all this selling.

I can only hope Sonko was one of the players Coppell meant when he said there were a couple here still wanting to be elsewhere.

Big Ern shame is that none of the money will be used to sign new players and the money will dissappear without trace into the club coffers never to be seen again.

EXACTLY.

I was a bit concerned that, after signing Armstrong, we'd spent more than 10% of the money we had received for transfers.

Good to it safely back into single figures again.

I think that'll be a given, esp with Sonko's "I want to go somewhere else" comments over the summer.

Well on the flip side, Bikey is a like for like centre back. Not sure that's a good thing though as he too is clumsy and hot headed.

I hope this gives Alex Pearce a real chance of stepping forward too.

 A good price for him I'll agree, but unless he demanded a move, pure folly in letting him go.

Friday's Child Although one of our recent goalscorers, not a problem. Plenty of cover and money for other parts of the team. Good sale and good luck.

Because we have really invested the cash from Kits and Shorey.

You lot realise that the only places saying this are The Sun and The Daily Mail? (Plus a QPR fan)

Not exactly the most reliable sources, are they?

This is the worst news ever. If I knew all our 'stars' would go before the transfer window closed then I may not have bought a season ticket.

Coppell himself said yesterday that Hammond was finalising a sale last night. So, I'm prepared to bet that Tredds is correct.

You'd hope there is one more signing left in us. The money is certainly there.

There's a bright young midifielder hoping to leave Palace right now and we could go and get him. Lift the fans with an ambitious signing as well. But we wont.
Probably looking at a young unproven player in Ireland instead.

To be honest this was always going to happen when we got relegated. Just brace yourself incase we loose Doyle or Harper.

As mentioned on the Fans Forum thread - we were interested but Palace refuse to do business with us. It would frankly take silly, silly money to get him.

I must say that I'm really not fussed about this one. We have a number of options in that postion and I can see Pearce coming through now which can only be a good thing.

2.5m seems like good business, it is one place we have good cover and a promising youngster coming through

Ever since Sonko's injury he has lost a yard of pace that means he forever mistiming tackles and giving away penalties. We don't need someone in the team who is a liability in that way. £2m or £2.5m is a fantastic piece of business.
