We are sh*te away from home.

Oh well I may have to stay away from HNA this week...

Why can't we play away like we do at home?

10539.4 Miles Away
thirtyyarder Eventually we have try someting different away from home.

I´ve said on another thread that we have players who should be suited to a five man midfield, esp. when Mate´s fit.
(Thats Matejovsky, not Peter Mate in case you aren´t sure Phil  )

Viewing from afar as I do, it seems that we do actually do something different away from home. Unfortunately it seems to be the old "By-pass the midfield by punting balls to our short strikers upfront and hope that the laws of probability fall our way and we get a lucky goal or two" tactic.

When we play on the deck, which happens more often at home we're fine.

Am also viewing from afar and it sounds like you have more acces to the game than me, however I would be tempted to say that the opposition´s attitude has more to do with our performance than an ability to play or not

There will be smile on the face of the owner tonight, poor display, no points today so the unlikely return to the nasty expensive premiership looks not as likely as it did after last weeks performance, well done JM

Perhaps we should try one of those sports psychologists.

Or just play 4-5-1....

our away record is gonna be awesome again this year I can see..couldn`t beat Forrest who have been crap ever since, made Charlton look like world beaters who have been put firmly in their place by Wolves today, Ipswich lose their first two games on their own pitch, then they get us mmmmm

great performance

Bikey comes in in central midfield when hes awful there. help if he played at centre back.

Lightweight away from home, not going to get anywhere near promotion this season im afraid

Away reality check for whom? I can't remember anybody claiming that we are anything other than useless away from home.

4-5-1 could work but 1) who would we play as the main striker? and 2) we did that a couple of times away last year and we were awful...

No one person is to blame, 11 players should take responsibility for this poor display.

Standard day at the office - a combination of the gutless and the clueless.
