Y25 YES

Not even halfway through the season. We have had our bad patch.

The top 2 haven't.

Actually, Wolves lost (I think consecutively?) 3-0 to us, 3-1 to Swansea and 5-2 to Norwich. That's a worse patch than we've ever had! I really think Wolves are going to win the league, providing they keep Kightly and Iwelumo in Jan. 13 points is pretty good! Plus we've got our 2-1 bogey team on Monday.

Brum have so much strength within the entire squad and have a knack of grinding out results. But anything can happen. This is a crazy league!

Yep..phase one complete ...but I am banking on Brum getting no more than 1 point from visits to Plymouth
and Preston and of course three home wins for us plus at least a point at Barnsley but if all else fails we will just
have to go up to St Andrews and settle it there on 20th...then its on and upwards after the Wolves !

Winchester Royal We need to keep doing what we were doing earlier in the season. We know we're good enough, it's the consistency that we need to develop.

I have no more to say. :)

tbh I will settle for where we have got to at the moment though anything today to keep us right up there would be excellent. Those four straight wins when we have not been fluent will be huge.

The top two in May will finish well..we have to make sure we are one of those...but first we have to get through January unscathed (and I am not just talking
on the pitch here).

I would be well happy with a point and remain 1 point behind them as we would have played all the top 6 around us away from home where as Brum and Wolves have played just 4 and 3 respectively.

floyd__streete
andrew1957 At the end of August Reading were 3 points behind Brum
At the end of September we were still 3 points behind
At the end of October we were 6 points behind and we are still 6 points behind.

This is hardly insurmountable - it just takes 2 wins for us and 2 losses for them.

What we need is some consistency where we win 6 games or so in a row.

No, but as you have shown that gap is actually growing as time goes on which is hardly ideal, I am sure you would agree with that. And as you personally got it so spectacularly wrong last time - crowing just after our last win in the Premier League at all those who dared to doubt  - forgive me if I don't hold my breath waiting for this 6 game in a row winning streak; some of you are still confusing RFC 08/09 with RFC 05/06. And I notice how catching Wolves is already being conveniently overlooked; a pre-requisite I would have thought if we are to claim the divisional title as so many of you once expected us to

Wrong again Floyd

Only one game to go for the 6 wins!

Winchester Royal- Lacks knowledge about any of the clubs affairs or players, and judging by his posts, knows little about football.
