I agree with the people who think it might be good to shake up the midfield a bit. I would like to see Karacan getting a start again. Even though I like Harps I don't think it would be a bad thing to give him a rest every now and again or Cisse for that matter. I would also like Tabb to be thrown into the mix.

As I have stated before I am not a big fan of Matejovsky so I wouldn't replace Harper or Cisse with him. I think Boris is a great person to have on the bench.

People around me were getting upset that we didn't make any subs, but I was looking at the bench and thinking who would make a difference?

I agree but think Tabb would have increased our options over Marek.

If Coppell didn't feel he had a sub worth bringing on in an attempt to the win the game he needs to re-assess who he puts on the bench.

Maybe SCC decided that 0-0 was good. He played not lose and hoped for a win. Going for the win might have cost us the game

This was an important result (not getting beat).. it starts a possible unbeaten run, whereas a defeat
after the win against Wolves would have taken away all the plusses.

I'd like to see Cambell - Ryce come in even if Hunt stays, a quick, strong winger, who can play both sides and actually push Kebe and Hunt for their places.

It's not as if we can't afford it or are currently over loaded with wingers. We could do a lot worse than sign rice 'n' peas tomorrow as a sign of our intent for the rest of the season and an invitation for Stephen Hunt to show us just how much he'd still like to be a part of this club.

I'm growing tied of getting out the prayer mat twice a year for players who were nobodies before we signed them......................we really don't deserve it and have the funds to guard against it somewhat better than we do.

We've been sussed since we stuck 6 and 4 past Sheff Wed and Swansea in that everyone plays a defensive 4-5-1 against us and stops us getting width. And yet we continue on an upward curve points wise.
Yesterday was typical of the whole scenario. We were the better side in the second half but still without a great deal of creativity. Would you utilise a "match changing bench" (Matejovsky maybe ?) or stick with what you had given that we were the only side likely to win the game at that stage ?
It's a difficult question for sure. I can just understand why Coppell would continue to go with a formula that is picking up more points that all of our rivals. Even though I'd prefer your option as far as watching enjoyable football is concerned

My thoughts entirely Ollie. I remember in the 94/95 season we had a storming run of games but pretty teams adapted to our style of play to try and nullify it.

Agreed. Plus...

Was that pitch big enough? Seen Under 12's playing on apparently bigger surfaces. (As well as being on par in quality with Rabson's/Prospect Park/Palmer Park etc.) Thought that the ref should have sent 2 players off from either side to give the teams enough room to play properly. (Harper - as much as I like him - and SHunt would have been my choices)

Thought Jimmy had a good game helping out Liam in defensive duties (although his attacking game was, well.."disappointing")

Impressed with Leroy's effort throughout the game - shame he wasn't 6ft 2 or he would have scored from Doyle's fantastic cross near the end.

Also my first visit to Loftus Road - puts to rest the idea that only new stadia can be soulless - although I thought it was very worthy of them to set aside part of the South Africa Road Stand side of the ground as Council Flats (complete with grubby net curtains)
