bcubed Very depressed, in fact I don't think depressed covers it
More like a feeling that I have been kicked in the balls and that familiar sickening feeling won't go away
I genuinely felt it was going to happen for us today and after the recent form couldn't see anything but a win against Brum. I was prepared for the result from Palace to go against us but wasn't prepared for Marcus' blunder, a lack of composure and the sheer panic that seemed to set in. The result from Palace just makes it all so much worse and the "what might have been" (and my 25 - 1 bet) so much closer.
I currently can muster no positive feelings about our chances in the play offs, so yes I am signing in as officially depressed

Well one day later - still depressed
Walking away from the ground I overheard a conversation "Shall I get drunk or sulk?"
Possibly the only realistic options :)
Well I couldn't drink as I was driving so I was left with sulking. Turns out it's a lousy option
Should be ok by the weekend but still can't loook forwad to play offs with any optimism

Kitsondinho Just think, within the 5/6 years time we WILL be the next Norwich/Charlton/Southampton/Bradford/Swindon/Leeds.............

No as they have some substantial premiership history. we will be the next Bradford or Barnsley

Well, I'm not that depressed really. Like has been said, the club can move on soon. The Championship 2009/2010 season will be pretty exciting I reckon with who is coming up and who looks likely to be coming down! We will have to make changes to the squad and get our youngsters out on the pitch. I'm not sure Doyle will go but I do think S Hunt will go!

It's a shame we didn't win yesterday as we would have been promoted but there's nothing we can do about it now. We didn't work hard enough, didn't want the ball and let Birmingham run from one end to the other too many times!!

The players came out for the lap of honour and looked deflated! Hopefully they'll brush themselves off and make a good go of the play offs. I'm looking forward to the play offs but Burnley will be far from easy! I'll still be there though and I have my tickets!

So if I'm honest I'm looking forward to the next season and renewed my Season Ticket back in March.

How about Cardiff getting knocked out of the play offs on the final day.....ohhh that's gotta hurt!

What is depressing for me is the way in which we have cocked things up in the last two years. Having said that, apparently we've never had it so good in our history.... *shudders to think what depths of depression I will dive to if we regress back to league 1 (and below) football*

Still, at least 180 minutes of (errr) football to (errr) look forward to!
