Wow. Really come into this after a very poor first 5 - 10 minutes. Well taken by Kebe. Awful mistake by Cole.

PremAddict cool headed finish for Kebe. That was lucky but nice...

Thanks for the feed btw - nice.

agreed. The good thing was that both wingers were backing each other up and Kebe followed up the shot Robson-Kanu well to give himself the chance. Makes up for the series of woeful crossess I guess

Fed is having the sort of game that left the jury out on him last season

Well taken by Jimmy....

Been some nice saves from Feds... But what a complete brain snap from Feds when Anelka ended up running around him.... jeez

20 mins more like, but yes the second 20 has seen us keep the ball a lot better when we get it off em

Still havent realy created anything, but considering the oppo its looking ok, but I do worry if Gunnar and Kebe are going to be mainstays of the side this season

Hopefully Gunnar is just keeping the shirt warm

Wow. wow.

And was that Shane long? the SL of last season would have lost the ball on his first touch. Just before the foul, he showed really nice skills; the ball looked glued to his feet.

Excellent play by Long to win the free kick. His first touch to take the ball away from Carvalho and Terry was exactly the sort of thing he doesnt do enough of

Not sure i'd describe that as a screamer - feee-kick right on the edge of the area, very central. Davies slotted it right-footed along the ground into the bottom corner. Cech's side of the goal so he should have that covered.

OMFG

Davies, what a little star. Couple of belters now this pre-season from him.

But A.Fed, dear God what a worry he is in goal. Simon Sheppard Mach2 :|

Excellent free kick, but gaping hole in the wall and big empty space of goal.

Long had an excellent run to win the free kick and in a real game Terry could have been off. If Long had got through that was a clear goalscoring chance if ever I saw one.

I really wish Kebe wasn't so frustrating, because he will produce lots for us this season. But he'll still cock up as much if not more.

Defence looking solid, Feds a bit hit and miss. Wingers seem to be getting in support of lone striker fairly well. Not even close to my first choice team, Gunnar and Tabb fairly anonymous IMO. But Davies and HRK could be very very good 2nd choice players.

Ist half verdict
started like rabbits in the headlights.. but got more into it
feds was rather lame , scary , inconsistant GK... i bet he has the ability , needs more belief
davies and kanu looked good
Long hardly touched it , not sure this formation is for him]
Tabb - this guy , just doesn't do it for me? he doesn't seem like a reading player , too difficult for words
pearce looks fairly solid , cisse -not really noticed him much
roseinor - doesn't look good enough
LB guy(?) not that sure about him
Kebe - same as usual crap and good in equal amounts..good composure for goal
gunnarsson - solid

It's funny how some people are still trashing Kebe - thinks he's been one of the best by far. Is Davies the new Sidwell or what?

My only real concern I'd say is Fed's inability to deal with crosses - some good saves, but stays on his line too much for corners.
