Any Lesta fan reading this must be creaming it for Monday. Surely the Switch game has got to be Buck's Armageddon. As well as Keano's. Pressure? What pressure?

The Ipswich game will go one of two ways.

1. Both sides shitting themselves at the prospect of failure resulting in a snorefest

2. Both sides thinking that this is the chance to kick start their seasons with a morale boosting win.

Problem is, I can not see us winning a game for the forseeable future. We take the lead and go to pieces. We concede then go to pieces. The oppo get reduced to 10 men and we go to pieces. We get reduced to 10 men and go to pieces. Question is, how do we break this cycle?

For me it was a sky sports interview where Rogers talked crap about how we're pushing for promotion.

Ironically he gave the same interview on this mornings Sky sports news "I still believe we can achieve promotion".

Actions speak louder than words.

Oh no, having an ambitious manager must mean he's a nutcase!
Sure, it's extremely unlikely to get promoted or even close to the play-offs this season, but that doesn't mean it can't happen.
I doubt it will, but having a manager who is ambitious is better than having a manager who says "we're shite and we'll go down...", eh?

Amibition without ability = self delusion.

I am sure that he thinks that he has all the answers, trouble is I'm not sure he knows what the questions are at the moment - if he is going to be anything but a failure here he needs to swallow his pride and ask for advice from people qualified to give it (i.e NOT Lampard Snr)

Haven't had one yet, but I'm steadily losing my rag with Rodgers.

Jose Mourinho was entitled to talk the talk as he had walked the walk by winning the Euro Champions League with Porto.

BR has obviously picked up on the concept of talking the talk.

Problem is, he has won oxf*rd all. Learn to walk before you talk BR.

Ark Royal He was just wrong, wrong, fcuking wrong from the beginning. Gut instinct told me that he was completely the wrong man and to me it is obvious he was told to cut the wage bill and replace those players with infinitely inferior models. We are so fcuked and a trip to FC Franchise is definitely on for next season.

It was Curbs for me, but that would not have happened in a month of Sundays with The Ego in charge.

Sadly, my locals are still going reasonably well - we may swap places.

BR signed 7 players in the window:
Cummings
Bertrand
O'Dea
Mills
Rasiak
MacAnuff
Howard

Any clown can sign players. getting them to play as a team is anoter matter. Ask the clown in charge!

Having a manager in touch with reality > than having an ambitious manager deluding himself about the team's capability and clinging to mathmatical possibilities.

4 months time when we're 23rd and 6 points from safety it will be a great deal of comfort when Rodgers does an interview and says we can still finish mid-table. Yes it's mathmatically possible. But then so is us breaking 100 points again currently.

I made it very clear that I was dead against him coming as I wanted Curbs.

But he's here now and now he's here I say he needs time to do a very difficult job.

I say he's had plenty of time to show us some management skills and he's shown us nothing to indicate he is up to the job.

I think we should all calm down a bit. He managed to turn around Watford who were struggling badly. I think the next few games should tell us what we should do, we're almost into November. So a few (3?) more games won't kill us.

I am sort of in agreement Leon... 3 more games in which he has to win 2 of them. Either Leicester & Ipswich or Coventry & Ipswich... cant be fairer than that. All joking aside, we have to beat Ipswich. If we dont, we're in the shite... and if he hasnt won at Coventry or on Sky to Leicester... we should issue his P45 at the Ricoh Arena and let someone else try and milk our 6 pointer
