rhroyal I can't believe all the posts criticizing Fearn. Is Chelsea a step down for him? Is he being offloaded due to a catalogue of errors? No, one of the biggest clubs in the country has come after him after recognizing his ability. I can confidently say that that counts for far more than the rants on a football board where people know very little about football injuries.

Terminal Boardom Do we have a cleaner or something to take over once he goes? I can't believe the club have a properly qualified and experinced individual lined up to step in. It's not the Reading way.

Elmer Park I think Luke Anthony, the Academy physio is taking over Fearn's job and prior to joining Reading he was Watford's first team Physio so he has some experience at this level. I'm sure Watford wouldn't fob us off with anyone who wasn't world class.

bagman Luke is Reserve physio, and Matt Hiron will step up from the Academy into his role, and a new Academy physio will be hired from the outside ( already done I think). So good bit of planning.

Fair enough. But who'll be the sports scientist? That's a crucial job.
