Royals and Racers U 21’s have a long break until Monday 17th March when they play Wolves away in a PL 2 fixture.
The U 18’s however have 2 matches over the next 7 days
Saturday 1st March away to Norwich KO 1pm League fixture
Wednesday 5th March Liverpool away KO 12pm in the semi- final of the PL U 18 cup.

Wonder if Wolves and Liverpool will stream their games somewhere on YouTube?

H-T 0-0
Reading 1 Liverpool 0 Booth 62 mins

2-0 Osho 70mins
3-0 Coke-Miles-Smith 74 mins
F-T 3-0
The result of the other semi was Derby 1 West Ham 3. As far as i know the final is NOT 2 legged so presumably played at West Ham or Reading- we are above West Ham in the PL U 18 South table so we should have a great chance of winning.
How long before RFC mention this match other than the result coming up automatically.?

No idea how strong Liverpool were but their u18s have only won 3 league games all season. Randomly, we may even have been slight favourites esp given the number of players having seen first team minutes this season.

Still a fantastic result and fingers crossed they go on to win it.

Nallo was playing, he’s had a sub app or two in cups this season. Also Ngumoha (the supposed wonderkid they got off Chelsea last year) started. He played against Accrington in the cup for them and got a good few rave reviews. Still there’s a difference between the 1st team and a PL u18 game no-one cares very much about.

Reading subs saw Carter Bowdery replace Booth and Verrell George replace Very-Long-Multi-Hyphenated-Name

Wasn't able to watch live, but watched the full ninety minutes back this morning. We played very well and made a very good Liverpool side look very ordinary. Osho hit the bar in the first half too. Very impressive performance from us.

Very disappointing the lack of anything from the club or the local press on this game.

Shame - these lads deserve some exposure.

10 mins of highlights are on you tube- youth football channel. Just watched and i agree we were very impressive. Haaving Duah back in defence helps as he is quality.

Been the same on that front for 2/3 years, won’t see any change until you know who’s gone.
