grey_squirrel If Steve Coppell became Sir, then Brian McDermott additionally gets a CBE, MBE, OBE and a free meal at McDonalds.

That bloke is a genius.

Isn't a K(e)BE better than all of them?

Sir = knight
K in KBE = knight

Yes, that's what I was saying. If we refer to Coppell as "sir" why should BMcD get less?

4 games ago we all looked at Blackpool, West Ham, Leeds and Brighton.

Not one of us predicted TWELVE points. Not one of us. But that is what the players and management got. Not 6 points. Not 8 points. They got, and won, the lot. Epic performances. Great goals against Blackpool. Stuffed West Ham in their depressing back yard. Stood tall against the thugs of Leeds. And did the business at Brighton.

I applaud every player that took part in those four games. You have been first class.

In return, we will pack the ground for the remaining two games. At one of these, Reading Football Club will win promotion to the Premiership.
A lot of us will be there on Friday, and we WILL celebrate promotion next week.

McDermott, all the players....legends. Thank you for making this a brilliant night.

I agree with the sentiment, but I suspect brendy did predict 4 wins from 4 tbh.
