I can only tell you what I've been told with regards to owning the football club. Anton bought 51% of the club, STAR still hold shares, and Anton wanted to purchase them as well but up until now STAR have refused to sell - ask them why and how many they hold? (if indeed that is correct). SJM own 43%. The papers all ran with 51% to AZ and 49% to SJM, but they just figured SJM owned the whole club, so he must be left with 49%.

All public domain stuff...

Reading football club (holdings). Star have shares here - they own less than a 10,000th of the company!

Are the ultimate parent company of Reading Football Club and own 49% of shares

But there is no actual evidence to show this 43% figure whilst there is plenty to show 49% would you agree?

See above they are different companies

THE READING FOOTBALL CLUB (HOLDINGS) PLC owns 49% of the Reading Football Club Ltd

TSI own 51% of the Reading Football Club Ltd

AZ owns 100% of TSI

SJM owns 98.5% of RFC holdings

I know all that, I had already mentioned the two different companies. I am only trying to see what actual evidence there is for the 43% figure and why Sparta is so adamant about it being correct

The evidence is that it doesn't exist, other than a repeated "thread fact"

based on what has been countered that would be a reasonable assumption but let's hold out and see what comes back

As I said, it's just what I'm told, and who by is good enough for me. If it's incorrect then so be it. Come along to the next STAR meeting and pose the question to the STAR rep. It's also worth asking STAR about TSI wanting their shares, but STAR were pushing back. I'm not certain of the reasons but I believe it was because they wanted certain assurances about TSI's intentions. Perhaps someone else here knows with regard to what. Chris Samuelson has recently answered some of their questions, which were deemed satisfactory.

I would love the idea of STAR holding 7% of Reading, possibly with a 46% /47% split between the others.

But the declared ownership as lodged with Companies House clearly says otherwise

STAR own less than 0.01% of the company that own 49% of RFC

Whether, as a goodwill gesture, SJM granted 7% voting rites we do not know.

Where are STAR on this thread? They could answer this straight out

From all of the above we might infer that "Others" - possibly STAR, own 0.7% of the football club.
If TSI (Anton) owns 51% and RFC Holdings owns 49%, RFC holdings being 98.5% SJM and 1.5% others, then SJM owns 48.27% of the football club and others own 0.73%.

Weeelllllllll, now you mention it. The Greenland shark tends to average 0.76 miles per hour and has a top speed of 1.6-1.7mph - Frédérick Bousquet was recorded as swimming at an average of 5.34 mph in the 50m freestyle in 2009. Although, as a fully grown male, so not technically a boy.

They refuse to comment directly or deal with issues raised on Hob Nob.

However, if you meet them in the Family Room of the Spread Eagle on the first Thursday of the month between 7 and 8pm with the right sleeve of your jacket rolled up.....

STAR have got a lower profile than Asil Nadir these days.

Just wondering SPARTA, have is crossed your mind yet that your sources source is just winding him up with fake info?

Not sure I've seen one of these reported rumours not be proven incorrect at some point
