As a team we played well - possibly shaded it. Having said that we were loody lucky to take all the points!

Sad for me was the fact that they look as if they will develop more when Sousa has had a few more weeks. They seem to have more potential. I am gey chuffed that we won - but one swallow does not a summer make.

Third league game we've played well in and finally got that bit of luck we deserved. Some outstanding key moments from key individuals (Federici saves, Mills clearance off the line) which all in all contributed to a great result. A good result to head into a two week break where we need to get bodies fit again.

Forest were lucky, Portsmouth were lucky, Scunthorpe were lucky to still be in the game before they scored the first goal in the opening game. It's about time Reading were lucky.

I cannot believe I fell asleep at half time... Granted it was 3 in the morning, and man u v west ham put me to sleep...

Our first goal was faking brilliant, great work by long, great pass by the kebster, and an ice cool finish by the gylf-miester...

Very imressed by what I saw, is that how we have been playing in all of our games?

I noticed that Cummings got rinsed a few times by dyer, but I think that any championship quality left back would have also...

It was good to see him bombing forward and overlapping with Jobi, although his crosses left a lot to be desired.

I think this might fuel mr mad's argument of not bringing in other players, as our rag tag bunch beat last years playoff semi-finalists at home...

Agreed. Northampton were also lucky (e.g. scored 2 mins after the match should have ended)

Feds - 8 - Not much to do but made a few excellent saves eg: Dyer's shot and one before the goal scramble. Must be happy with his 50th consecutive appearance in goal.

Gunnarsson - 6.5 - Hardworking, ran like hell but could do better with his passing.

Mills - 9 - What more can I say? Wonderful goal and a brave and smart goal line clearance. A captain's performance.

Pearce - 8 - Used his height and size to mark Leicester's forwards. An great improvement from the young lad.

Cummings - 6.5 - Played for the first time since forever and had an average performance. At fault for Dyer's goal and was rinsed by him countless times. Still, he worked his socks off.

McAnuff - 8 - Slotted in at right back and did a wonderful job. Could do better with his dribbling imo.

Howard - 7 - Needs to work on his passing and crosses.

Karacan - 7 - Average. Tackled well and knocked opponents off the ball but like Howard, needs to work on his passing.

Kebe - 8 - Wonderful cross for Sig's goal.

Sigurdsson - 8 - Largely anonymous throughout the game but shocked Leicester with a great goal. I hope he stays.

Long - 7 - Hardworking to knock the Leicester defender off the ball which gave us the goal.

Subs

Antonio - 6 - Raw,very raw. Needs more games.

Church - 6 -Not enough time to make an impact.

Did no-one else think Cummings was lucky not to give away a penalty on Dyer? I wouldn't have been surprised if the ref had given it.

Nah, it was shoulder to shoulder and Cummings was just stronger. Compared to my expectation, Cumming's was great yesterday good lad!

I agree.

Wasn't a penalty and Cummings did well to get in so quickly.

TBF, I've seen those given before, even in the Premier League.

No. Just not deluding myself.
When Fryatt came on they tore through us, add King in and they were all over us. I think they have more potential when their full squad is fit. If we had lost we could not have complained - just grateful we got the win!

We were all over them in the first half you could argue, there was only 1 team who was gonna win that game and that was us. If we had some decent forwards we would have finished it off in the first half- Shane Long offers absolutely sod all

Two quite poor teams, but as has been stated the luck went our way. I'm by no means convinced we won't be back round the 20s for another period before the season's out, particularly given the injuries shown by Mills and Gunnarsson over the course of the game, but plenty of spirit and effort and all that stuff which wins such close battles.
