Finally a chance to throw toys out of prams officially...

by Millsy » 08 Sep 2010 18:33

After Gylfi leaving and the rights or wrongs of that (not for discussion in this thread) HNA seems to be split in various directions re: views on the future of the club, the chairman, our ambition etc etc etc and it has caused a fair amount of flaming from people with different views but the fact of the matter is of course we're all Reading fans who only get so worked up with our stances because we love the club and come any Saturday we're all there following the same team, cheering for the same outcome.

However the last two or three years have actually been quite difficult for a lot of us and I guess we're all seeing things in different ways and have a background level of frustration at how things are unfolding, whether we choose to attribute problems to Madejski's alleged stinginess, the economic climate or certain players or whatever we perceive/like to believe the problem to be.

People in all camps have thrown more toys out of prams than ever before over the Gylfi issue (whether it be throwing toys out of prams over his departure, or fans' inability to realise the inevitability of the departure, or Madejski's lak of investment, or fans' inability to become more realistic etc) and will probably continue to do so until things stabilise and we somehow get back to the glory days of being serious contenders. God knows I've barely any toys left in my pram after getting into a girly hissy-fit over recent events.

In any case prams have been left toyless so just a bit of fun to diffuse the negativity and get us all focussing on hugging RFC Elm trees again this is a thread where can proudly throw actual toys out of our prams.

So I'll start with these....

[mods feel free to remove if this is a daft thread. just thought I'd try to diffuse any bad feelings]
