Worst-dressed Reading player

by facaldaqui » 18 Jan 2011 16:53

I was in favour of Morrison joining Reading, but now I've seen his choice of T-shirt I'm not so sure. Worst-dressed Reading player I've seen since Robin Friday got on my bus at the Butts Centre on his way up Oxford Road. Apart from the fag hanging out of his mouth and the uncombed hair, he was wearing a blue Micky Mouse T-shirt, a filthy, tattered denim jacket and scruffy jeans held up by a huge belt with the end hanging down. If he'd washed he'd've looked like a member of Pink Floyd after a night on the tabs.

Any worse examples, or does this take the biscuit?

Friday didn't look much better running onto the pitch.

Affectionately. Loved Friday and quite happy for Morrison to turn out to be a character.

I wear a classy coat to Reading these days and never wear colours. Gone are the days when I wore a turquoise cord jacket and a hooped bobble hat knitted by my nan.

I think it is just him. On another person the t-shirt might look OK, I am sure many people could carry off the cardigan, and the youth of today often look resplendent in their skinny jeans, but on him they just look to me like his Gran picked up a few bargains for him from Matalan.

I'd say Shane Long. All i've ever seen him wearing is a blue and white hooped shirt and white shorts.

Has the fella not got any other clothes?

For my money, Steven Hunt was apallingly dressed just about all the time.

As Mrs SC said when she met him once "You can go down any dole office any signing-on day and meet dozens just like him."

I once saw Jimmy McIntyre in a pair of snakeskin shoes.

Williams just comes across as a builder on his day off that they picked from random on the street, and Morry just looks gay, end of.

I would say Williams looks more like a painter and decorator than a builder!
