Reading secure promotion at Griffin Park after alomst stacking it 2 years on the trot.

Jamie Cureton scores arguably the most important goal in our history. Where would we be now without his goal?

Without doubt the greatest ever day in RFC history. Never forget those scenes walking back through the streets of Brentford / Ealing, outside the Three Guineas and in the AD. Best day ever.

At the Mad Stad with my son - watching the Big Screens that broke down for 10 agonising minutes so trying to get text updates from the ground. Then celbrating on the pitch with 5000 odd Royals.

You have two greatest ever days ?! Both were special, but just think where we would be if Curo hadn't scored and we hadn't gone up that season ?!

Great moment but Doyle's goal was ultimately worthless in terms of getting us promoted.

For the 12 mins between the goal and the final whistle i would actually disagree with that. I was shitting it. Seem to recall either Murty or Williams with a headed clearance off the line from a free kick which seems to have dodged all the highlights of the game.

Without a doubt, the most important goal scored AT THE TIME. Since then, there have been bigger games, more important games, more important goals. For me, I would say that either the 2-0 away wint at Brighton or the 3-0 away win at Preston in 2005/06 were more important at that put the opening day defeat by Plymouth to one side and set the ball rolling for THAT season. If Ian Harte scores the winner on Friday night won't that be the most important goal?

are you serious? we were 20 odd points clear of 3rd at the time, we would have gone up by losing every game til the rest of the season

I'm with Zammo here, that was the most important goal in the clubs history.

Not the greatest day for me as I remember driving home just feeling numb at the relief of it all rather than elated.

My greatest day would be Leicester away and the party in town afterwards. The culmination of a life long ambition and no pressure or tension throughout.

They were suggestions, and both in my opinion rank higher than the afternoon at Brentford.....
