SHORT AND CURLY I have not washed my home shirt for ages and worn it at every game since Sheff Utd A. I did not want to wash it until we lost.
I was contemplating wearing it yesterday, however when I realised it was a certain home win I wore the white away shirt instead.
My intention being that after the three points I could give the home shirt a well earned (and overdue) wash!
My lucky shirt had a game off and look what happenedFortunately I did not wash the good fortune out of it.
Needless to say my lucky shirt will be back out at Coventry.
So if you are next to a geezer in a smelly home shirt on Saturday, I apologise in advance. At least it will ensure a decent result.
