I wouldn't say Kits has gone on to better things at Pompey and it's only a loan.

Well - bigger club, but maybe not better at the moment.

So Kes actually can manage a subtle windup.

In truth are the clubs he refers to all bigger than our own?

Eh? Since when was it a loan. Pretty sure he was signed on a perm deal with Lawrence.

Wow.

Like no club has ever sold a player to a team in a higher league (Crewe's version of this must crash the server)

And LOL at Kitson (actually sold to Stoke), Tyson etc who all play for teams that finished beneath us.

P!ss poor effort at a wind up.

A factually incorrect subjective retard-fest in fact.

That is all.

S Hunt (Wolves) - finished highest with us
Hahnemann (Wolves) - finished highest with us
Kitson (Portsmouth) - finished highest with us
Ashdown (Portsmouth)

Ian. I reckon Forest are a bigger club than us. They have won two European Cups and the First Division and have a bigger fan-base than us. Yep we have had more success on the pitch in recent years than them but does that make us the bigger club?

It means a move to them isn't bigger and better things for Tyson, I'm sure he couldn't give a rats arse what they did 30 years ago before he was born. History is history, it's a nice place to visit for nostalgia but it means very little in the here and now.

Agree. No doubt in my mind Forest are bigger. And why have you evaluated only in the last ten years Ian???

Yes, they're averaging about 5.5k more through the gate than us, but then I reckon that doesn't mean a whole lot more to Tyson. In the time Tyson's been there, we've won the chump with a points record, finished 8th in the Premier League, been involved in two chump play offs and had two FA Cup QFs. What's Tyson managed with Forest?

Historically of course they are a bigger club than us. And yes, their fan base is bigger than ours, but that isn't the OP.If you make that argument then if Sheffield Wednesday, or Southampton sign Scott Davies he's moved onto bigger and better things, despite having been released and playing at a lower level. Even if we get promoted to the Premier League.

It's just ludicrous.

i refuse to subscribe to the bigger bollox, its only better for me. In which case from that list:

Sidwell (Fulham) At Chelsea but barely played
Shorey (West Brom) At Villa but barely played
Ashdown (Portsmouth) At Pompey but barely played.
