Federici to the premiership. Not sure which club. But I think he will be the one big player that the club will have least qualms about selling. As we have McCarthy as a sufficient replacement with one of Andersen or Hamer as back up.

SJM Can we keep this set of players together? Largely speaking, yes.

Of course there will be people within the club who are very talented and who deserve to move on. But we can make plans for another go.

If people do leave, then no doubt we can compensate for it. If we let players go, we can invest in new players.

Think you're being a bit pessimistic there Avon Royal. We were always punching above our weight this season. We'll be there or thereabouts around play offs, but most probably just missing out.

This was the season to get out. The next will be far more difficult. I reckon Brum will bounce straight back, WHU will go either way depending on their finances and who is in charge. You are obviously going to have to reconstruct if you lose your best players, so could be tough for you. Blackpool will likely crash and burn with that tit of a manager. Then you've got consider what's there. Forest will be strong as will Leicester and possibly Leeds, Cardiff possibly down the wrong end. I make no predictions as to how we will do next season. We got promoted with a squad that would hold its own in the NPC, but we will invest and if recent trends are continued, invest wisely to move us back towards the Prem. This time in the Championship we are more than well funded and are a club on the up as opposed to a few years ago when we were a club in decline. So watch out for the Saints next season. THE SAINTS ARE COMING!

TMD and Kes are going on frees. Both too old and tired, no pace and offer no incisive attacking options.

1TeamInBerksRFC is being returned from his loan. It just didn't work out. Lots of effort, running around etc., but again, no visible results.

I think there are clubs in this division who can spend money when needed. I'm counting my lot as one, though we don't have a great recent track record of spending well. Brum and WHU will be another couple, with Blackpool, all of whom have parachute payments and/or wealthy owners willing to back their squads when needed.

Leicester, Forest, Cardiff, you, us, Middlesbrough, Southampton, Leeds, Pompey, Millwall...all will be thinking they've got a chance next season. It's the hardest league to predict and one of the worst when you're not doing so well.

For the record, you won't go down. We've spent years in this division now, and we'd like promotion back, so I'm hoping it's our turn next year. I just think you can't afford to stand still in this division any more, because others will be only too pleased to take your place.

Bad luck today btw. But for a couple of defensive errors, I think you'd have won that.

Chill out FFS. Over dramatic! We all said we'd struggle this season didn't we & got a cup qtr final & trip to Wembley.

Yes Long, Fed & Kebe will go but honestly I think that's it. Can't see a prem team going for McAnuff personally. I'm sure we'll do ok. Mid table I expect.

More worried about Brighton TBH.New stadium, one of the best young managers in the country and a attractive style of play. Just don't turn your backs to them.

Oh blimey - I forgot about the bl**dy yokels down the road!

Is Rupert Lowe still in charge of them these days, bringing in rugby coaches and wondering why they get relegated?

Club will sell whoever it is needed to make sure the cloth is cut to make the ever shrinking coat ......my worry is that if you look beyond the current first XI, there isnt a whole load of cutting edge there....

..... safe to say we can forget about Craig Mackail Smith to replace Long

....Mills will go to Bolton if Cahill moves on
.....Long to Celtic/Everton
.....Kebe to France
.....Federici ...dont care ...McCarthy is a better keep imo

...plus others no doubt

To me the situation at the end of this season is different from last season. I thought letting Siggy go was a huge mistake as with him we had a genuine chance of automatic promotion. If we failed we were always going to have to sell a lot of players at the end of this season - so we could have had a one season gamble.

This season, however, we really cannot stand in the way of the likes of Kebe, Long and Mills if they get a chance to play in the PL. Whereas Siggy was very young these players are getting to an age where they need to be playing at a higher level. I am not sure Fed will go as I don't think there will be any takers, but he is one I would be happy enough to see move on to give the young goalkeepers a chance to develop.

Think we will raise £10M plus in players sales this summer. Just hope the Chairman will re-invest a good proportion this time round - particularly on a couple of new strikers and a left back.

We'll find another giraffe on crack fro somewhere..... it may take until Chrimbo but we will.....

As for strikers, assuming that is Shane gone, well..... there's always Simon Church.

You laugh - I laugh - but with a run in the team and some confidence (a la Shane post Chrimbo), who knows?

And we have that young Jack lad coming through for midfield.

I worry about our back four. We could be seriously struggling unless something is done over the summer.....
