0-1 - Opening day defeat with Reading fans leaving in despair or just leaving 15 minutes before the final whistle as per usual to get home in time for Dr Who, just like they did at the start of the 106 season.

Is Manset going to be on as a sub then, scoring in the 83rd minute? Or are you thinking the Reading physios will have worked a miracle and gotten him into true match fitness?

did many leave with 15 minutes to go in a game we were drawing and looking the more likely to win?

I am always more interested in the last few fixtures at the business end of the season

TH lat 8 are

H Blackpool
A West Ham
H Leeds
A Brighton
A Southampton
H Forest
H Palace
A Birmingham

Could hardly be much more difficult

The beauty if this league is you really can't guess at all accurately how good a team will perform the following season. These could be the teams occupying the lower mid table for all we know.

That is a good point. Unlikely scenario, but a good point. Every year this league looks to be getting harder.

I was at the Den last time - I thought the Lions fans were very polite indeed - they asked us what our names were ....'oo are ya 'oo? are ya? 'oo are ya? and when I capitulated and told them I don't think they heard me properly - the answer I got was .........you wot you wot you wot you wot you wot........all in all nice chappies even if they are a little deaf, (sorry mutt n jeff)
