Only ever had warnings. Seen plenty booted out and often manhandled from Y26. Not so much on our travels though but a handful.

How are the warnings administered? Just a "If do that again I'll have to ask you leave sir" sort of thing?

Not been ejected - been close a couple of times but saw the light and calmed down / sobered up.

Yes - quite a few (sitting in Y25 tends to aid these matters). My favourite has to be a certain nobber being thrown out of Newcastle (a) in 2008 for drinking wine in view of the pitch

i nearly had my members card taken after the great GU1 uprising.
possibly for singing"if you leave early, youre gay" which was construed as a homophobic song.which it certainly wasnt intended to be, and i can now fully understand how it may have been construed as such, and can only apologise for any offence caused
thats about as hardcore as ive ever got.



also sat next to a certain nober as he was ejected from their ground for drinking beer in view of the pitch, which was daft as we were in the back row of their ridiculously high away stand, and no one without binoculars could have seen him doing it

Technically he "removed himself" before he was thrown out - in the same way another 'nobber did at Ipswich the same season.

Ha, a friend of mine got escorted from the same match for drinking a bottle of vodka that he'd bought from a Newcastle fan on the metro.

In fact, I've seen 'nobbers thrown out / leave before being thrown out of:

Ipswich
Watford
Coventry
Reading

And also arrested outside Charlton without even getting into the ground.

I was in the away end (terrace, happy days) for Farnborough v Hereford some six or seven seasons ago.

The bulls fans (gr8 bunch TBF) were all massively tanked up, and a group of them got chucked out. Can't actually remember what for, possibly trying to invade the pitch.

Two of them then successfully managed to climb back into the ground about 10 minutes later, greeted with cheers from the bulls fans and a "Oh FFS" from a couple of stewards. Threw them out again and fair play there was no unnecessary argy bargy on either side, the fans realised it was a fair cop and the stewards didn't seek to throw their weight around for the sake of it.

Probably a case of the old RTGs but conference football + terracing + a few years ago really was fantastic.

Seen one of Big Foot's mates thrown out at least twice.

I have to say one particular nobber with a penchant for wine immediately came to mind when TROLI mentioned the ejection at Newcastle for drinking wine within view of the pitch

TBF, I was battered, and I'm sure we're talking about the same bloke. Just seem to recall it was wine as it made it even funnier.

At least if you have to down it at a seconds notice you've got a better chance with wine than a full pint. Also easier be subtle about it.
