Shocking as it may seem they did have seats at EP but in those days we were allowed to make our own minds up and funnily enough it was never really too much of a hardship to stand for 45 mins at a time.

IMHO terracing over seats - it generated a better atmosphere as all the vocal supporters could group together. Also back then the club was more open and welcoming rather than today's corporate RFC. You almost had the feeling that if you took your boots along you might just get a game.

tbh i didn't bother reading the OP - so i too presumed it was which did you prefer...

But as for "longer" then its EP (if you take my first ever game) for me......

1984 - 1998 = 14 years
1998 - 2011 = 13 years
