Maybe STAR have a rough idea?

unless these fans sign a register how are we supposed to get numbers, we don`t even know how mant there are in Reading let alonw worldwide

I'd say around 200,000, maybe a few more, maybe a few less. At a very rough guess

I imagine Reading FC probably look at sources such as number of web site visits (allowing for the fact that some of these are opposition fans), active members on the ticketing database and merchandise sales.

My father met one in Honolulu in 1979. He (the supporter, not my father) was an Indian immigrant to the US, had never been to the UK, but his two brothers had emigrated to UK, lived in Tilehurst and were RFC fanatics. It had rubbed off on the Honolulu bloke. He could recite all results of the current season. He had three kids so, assuming normal procreation, there may now be a dozen or so in Hawaii.
