by Cobi » 14 Mar 2012 09:52

Another game where they will stick every man on the line to keep us out.

We're 2nd now. West Ham will be feeling the pressure!

Anyone know if we are staying up there?

Wouldn't make sense to me to drive all the way home on Tuesday night/Wednesday, then head back up on Friday.

If we don't have the travelling, could go well

Ady Williams, Mick Gooding and Tim Dellor discussed this on BBC Berks after the game on Saturday. The pro's were pretty unanimous in saying that they'd come back home. The general gist being that you can't keep a group of footballers happy/amused before boredom sets in. A couple of nights could be manageable, but not so many nights. They would need to rest in the right way, even if training would be light...and a hotel room wouldn't be conducive to this.

I know it's a cliché but this is now the biggest game of the season. Can we bounce back, get the win and continue our fine form!

I think so

Terry Capello Syndrome?

Agree its a bit of a long time and potentially disruptive, but to me 3 clear days training beats 2 long coach journeys. They are bloody professionals after all. Can't be many occasasions where you are faced with two away games so close to each other in geography and timing. Perhaps they will fly one of the journeys...

Its not exactly a round the world flight

Reading to Barnsley would only take around 3 hours.....
