rollsy We all know the names, Friday, Death ect when the royals legends conversations start in the pub but is there anyone in the current squad who fit the bill?
One stand out in my opinion is Noel Hunt. Always plays with passion, and gives 100%. ok so some days he's not at his best but his work rate and commitment to the match and the team are never in doubt. Think back to last season, we are 3 nil down to a good Norwich side, and remember who it was who rallied the team and got us back to 3 all. Play off final, again it was hunt who rallied the team. Today, we go 3-1 up against Blackpool, but rather than relax, he goes round the team reminding them there is still time on the clock and they must remain focused.
That is why, to me, Hunt is a current royals legend.

Ginger Ninjas Think Pearce is the prime candidate from the current squad, been here since he was 12 or so, always wears heart on his sleeve, much maligned at early point in his RFC career but now one of the first names on the teamsheet and chips in with vital goals [/cliche mode]

This! Pearce all the way.He will be one of readings best ever centre backs and next season when he graces the premiership with us he will get an england call up

Friday's Legacy any legends in the current squad? no, absolutely not.
people get labelled a legend far too easily these days. that right needs to be earned.
it's a terrific squad, some cracking players in there on their day, but none have earnt that right as yet.
