To all the fans leaving early....

Shame on you. Stay until the end & back the boys. I just cannot understand why people do not stay until the end to applaud the team.

Most of them are probably the bandwagon jumpers that have only recently remembered they have a local football club.

Did you pat for their tickets? If not, what is it to you when they leave?

most fans don`t live within walking distance of the stadium and don`t fancy queuing for ages for the bus

if you are referring to the group on sky that were shown leaving 10minutes before the end, those were the Reading Buses drivers who always have to leave early and get back to their buses

No I didn't pay for their tickets. But what sort of support is that come on? It's absolutely awful. Back the team & show your appreciation for what was a truly dogged determined performance. Arguably our best of the season given the dirty tactics used & the way we kept our heads. They deserve proper fcuking support.

It was actually more of a general comment. I see loads of people leaving with 10 mins left + stoppages pretty much every week. Why bother going?!

The Sky commentator took the piss out of them.

"Looks like the prawn sandwiches are beckoning".

There was me thinking these supporters wanted their money back on their scarves.

You say this like it's something that's never happened at any game ever before, anywhere...

I just can't get my head round it that's all. Especially at this point in the season & with us throwing the kitchen sink at them to get the goal. Presumably people go for entertainment, excitement whatever so why leave at such a pivotal time?

I just find it bizarre & it does annoy me a bit. Sorry but that's my opinion!

I think you are probably right. I was watching on TV and saw the group thay left early had identical clothing. Apart from one with a turban. I don't think it was a 'walkout'.

Fair enough if they have to go. No one else is really in that position though!

Many, myself included, may consider it crazy to leave with 10 minutes left or even before the full tiem whistle, but it's a free world and they pay their money so can chose to leave whenever they want. Who knows if they had other committments more important than a football later that evening, or whether they just didn't want to wait for ages to get out of the car park.

Irrespective of judging people who you know nothing about and their committments, rest assured the author of the thread is a "Better Fan" than these obvious traitors.
