I know there’s a fair amount of animosity between the clubs but credit where it is due. Congratulations on promotion and fully deserved after an astounding run culminating with the pasting of us and Southampton. No excuses from the game against us, even if I was whinging like a teenager on the day about several perceived injustices, all of which turned out to be unfounded.

You’ve got a great manager who conducts himself superbly and is braver than his timid demeanour suggests. Which I find quite ironic given who’s steering our ship.

I still hold out some hope that we’ll be playing you next season but time will tell. We’ve not got the best record so far this season when it comes to holding our nerve.

Pains me to say west ham are by far the best team in the play-offs, and on paper in the division.

BFS is an arrogant graceless idiot and he's done a shocking job with an absolute fortune in riches that any manager would kill for at this level.

The value of WHU's squad is probably 8 times that of everyone else bar leicester and just proves even big spending mercanries will struggle unless they have a good team spirit within the club and a manger who knows how to get the best out of them.

It's getting harder to say it every year but football is just about unable to be bought. The game would be dull if it could be. Having moaned about chelsea and citeh and been chuffed they haven't been able to buy the success they craved it's ironic I'm now on the other end of it.

Reading have played as a team and their spirit was clear against us. Even a couple of West Ham old boys in there that were casually discarded years ago for not being good enough or over the hill. I bet they enjoyed their porridge this morning reflecting on that.
