PL starts on 18th August. I am 99% certain that means we will start with a home game as we have to be away on the 25th August due to the Reading festival.
8th September is the first blank Saturday of the season due to international fixtures.
Anyone got the fixture dates for next seasons League Cup?

I was hoping for an away match in Manchester that weekend cos I'm at a wedding up there, looks like that won't be happening

Opening day home fixture against a Wigan or Saints would do nicely. Something that gives us a chance of taking 3 points early on and getting the self belief instilled into the lads.

I think they try and keep the "if you're away on opening day, you're at home for the next two if the first is a midweek game" policy. Like when we were at home to Middlesbrough then were @ Villa in midweek then @ Wigan at the week end in 06/07.
It's a cracking policy btw.
