Has Dan O'Hagan from MOTD ever watched us?

by Mid Sussex Royal » 16 Nov 2012 13:23

This is how his review for tomorrow's game starts:

"Reading - easy on the eye, expansive, adventurous, exciting Reading. Purveyors of the best football outside the Premier League last season, but finding out the hard way that trying to trade tiki-taka with the best more often than not leaves a newly-promoted side skittled towards the bottom of the pile"

Have I been watching the wrong team for the last 2 years?

I can only assume he's being sarcastic.

On the up side - we CAN be sure that he hasn't asked Mark Lawrenson for that review!

adverturous and exciting are th eonly two words you could level at reading from that article
you need to put an over before the adventurous,
and most of the excitement is coming from the other team, with the occasional last minute goal from us!

If you preceed most of what he has said with 2 simple letters - "un" - then he is pretty much spot on

I read his preview before I saw your post and I too raised an eyebrow. Tiki-taka? Hahaha.

At least he's being nice about Reading, even if he doesn't know about us.

True, occasionally Hunt will get his head onto one of the long balls!

Looks like Neil Johnston wrote up his BBC match report at half time and then went home too. Detailed description of Everton's first half chances, with two short sentences at the end saying about our goals
