If I had started this poll back in August (when I told the Hob nob world) that MCD is deluded by thinking we could stay up with the signings he made...... I would of been shot at dawn as usual, be hey look what we have here, "In your heart, do you think we are already down...?" poll in December.

agreed, although against everton i again thought we had turned the corner even though we were totally outplayed in the first half. even against man u i thought we may stand a chance...alas not a hope - bottom of the league by xmas

Yes, of course we're down. But that's life and that's football. The club is well placed for another tilt at the title and a third Championship title to add to our honours list. Not bad, 3, 2nd tier titles in a decade. I'm happy with that. It's silverwear that counts in the end. mid-table mediocrity in the premier league will not be added to the honours list and will not be celebrated and enjoyed in the same way as a title triumph! No matter which tier you win.
