Guthrie reception thread/poll

What sort of reception do you think Guthrie will get if he is involved against Arsenal?

It is the panto season after all, so will he be booed or cheered?

Agree with Zac. If he's involved, it means him and McDermott have sorted out their problems, in which case, support him. It's in everybody's interests to get Guthrie playing and playing well.

However, I don't think he will be involved and I think he'll get roundly booed if he is.

Any supporter that boos a Reading player BEFORE the game should have their membership card / Season Ticket removed and banned from the Mad Stad for life.

The third option would be to do neither, just silence and base his future reception on if he plays well and makes an effort.

But of the choices, have to cheer because booing your own players is ridiculous.

Neither of the above and I'm hoping McDermott has the good sense to ensure that Guthrie has played his last game in the hoops.

If Robert Mugabe pulled on a Reading shirt and played you should bloody well cheer him for 90 minutes.

(obviously, you would then stone him after the game had finished but let's not go that far with Guthrie)

I have no problem with Guthrie at all. I have a problem with how he's been managed though. A player of his ability should be in the side. His problem is he bites too easily, but I'd also have a massive problem if a useless kunt like Leigertwood was getting a game ahead of me.

Get behind him, and if he's on the sodding bench again, chant his name and keep chanting it until Brian plays him.
