Pants day, was to kick up a stink in the hope that we wouldn't end up somewhere we didn't belong.

It's going to take at least 3 years of terminal decline, for there to ever needs to be another pants day.

The people on this board are oxf*rd deluded if they think we "belong" in the Premier League.

Just like Wigan fans were deluded. And Stoke fans were deluded. And Norwich fans were deluded. And Swansea fans were deluded.

The only reason we don't belong is that we don't have the balls to believe that we belong.

We won the Championship last season, of course we belong here!

And for the record, this is our third season in the PL in what, 7 years? That's pretty fcuking amazing if you're a long time Reading fan like most of us!

Good point SPARTA but being the whipping boys week on week is not good.

The manager has failed to sign any quality on the pitch, very naive when playing at this level.

Let’s go down fighting for the fans because at this moment in time it’s a whimper.

PANTS day was on the back of 2 years of near utter shit including one relegation and facing another, having sacked 2 managers (TB1 and TB2), and watching the likes of Sean Evers and Keith Scott stumble around in a three quarters empty stadium against Wrexham.

I suggest we still have some way to go.

....and in several cases you can't say they're not trying sufficently.

They're just not good enough.

Several? Not last night. Perhaps 2 or 3 cases only. Most look disinterested and clearly aren't playing for the manager. Just going through the motions.

It wouldn't be time for another Pants Day if we didn't get another point all season.

Not in the slightest.

Does anyone here actually remember pants day?

Does anyone actually remember the BS we had for months when we finally cracked?

Yes we've had a run of bad games but before that run we beat everton, were thrashing arsenal, and we're top of the league for a few minutes beating Chelsea 2-1 with some solid but unfortunate performances. We're not sh*t.

Let's not dent their already awful morale with an unnecessary show of pointlessness. Pants day was VERY called for. Right now even booing ( which I'm a fan of, after a game) is not called for.

Can't believe the club allowed the ginger day when Sidwell and Kitson were playing for Reading. As bad as allowing a 'racist' day.

True, although if I remember correctly the Players Are Not Trying Sufficiently acronym actually came after the idea for pants day. Originally it was just based around the detail that we were pants.

A "Management Is Not Good Enough" protest would be interesting though.
