Chris Armstrong
Ulises De La Cruz

Chris Armstrong was just peaking when he had to retire.

Phil Whitehead, agreed totally.
Adi Whitbread
Matt Robinson

Or is it just that everyone after Burns seemed great by comparison?

Hardly unsung if they are referred to on here are they. And shouldn't the title refer to XI instead of X1? What do they teach you lot in school these days?

Ricky Newman is a good shout - I seem to remember a game against Norwich where they were all over us with Iwan Roberts bullying our centre backs and Newman came on, putting a good few tackles in - we lost the game 2-0 but it was one of those watershed moments where the team's fortunes looked up after that.

Ollie Kearns - a goal every other game
Matt Robinson - the first player we had bought after many years of Burns that wasn't complete shit
Matt Mills - played well in the play-off semi final and, uniquely, final

Another vote for De La Cruz here.

Would also add:
Andy Griffin - Maybe not completely unsung and I know he had a mare in the play off final, but the way he helped change the team's attitude and approach after a terrible first half of 2009/10 cannot be underestimated.
Chris Makin - The unsung hero of our record-breaking year.
John Oster - got a fair bit of stick, but another who in hindsight did a good job for us in our best ever year.
