Match thread before line-ups announced? What are you doing?

We know for sure that Roberts, Leigertwood and McCarthy are out. Carrico will make his debut, Akpan on the bench in place of Tabb. Gunter and Harte will continue at full back.

Seems like Long is out which is good news for us. Lukaku will be the big threat for WBA though. Hard to see him not scoring against us really.

Could be starting the game bottom if things stay the same at Loftus Road.

With Gera and Long out for West Brom, Caricco instead of Legsofwood, I think this is 'doable'.

Big ask for Carrico to come straight in and adjust to the pace of this division though.

Can see Akpan replacing Carrico around the 60min mark.....so i reckon we'll get to see both new signings today

I dunno, he strikes me of a more Karacan-type player really.

With a bench of "Taylor, Cummings, Morrison, Akpan, McCleary, Hunt, Le Fondre" he is the only option when Carrico gets knackered (which he will)

Every match thread has to end with "sponsored by......." and then something relevant to the opposition

GC has broken every rule with a match thread
