Always exciting towards the end of a transfer window to think.... If we sold how much would we get? Obviously length of contract etc makes things complicated so I'm just going to go on a general "How many millions on an average remaining contract." Let my slaughtering commence, but fascinated by others opinions.....

If someone is interested the values above would be double what you quote for every player at least.

If we were offering to clubs though because we wanted to gt rid thats different.

Pearce is better than Matt Mills and probably as good as the bloke Newcastle are about to sign: £6 million

Agreed Obita has lots of potential but potential has no real value until proven. In my opinion he has yet to prove himself, so has no transfer value until he does.

If we get more than 1M for Gunter after his displays for us so far I would be amazed. Just because we paid 2.5M does not mean we would get that much back (we were lucky with Halford and Fae but luck runs out eventually). To me Gunter is a good Championship player but doubtful he will make the step up and I don't see a Championship club paying more than 1M. This is not a criticism of the club by the way, as Hammond and Brian have a fantastic record, but I think the purchase of Kelly means that they think they got the Gunter one wrong.

I cannot see us getting much more than 250K for Cummings unless he becomes a regular starter again. Again the Kelly purchase says to me that the club don't fully trust him - although the recent contract extension is, therefore, a bit odd.

My guess is Gunter will be sold in the summer and Cummings will be back up for Kelly - but it could be the other way round.
