Don't know the answer but I suspect Darren Caskey is quite high up the list.

I don't recall Richie Bowman ever missing one. Jimmy Quinn must be up there but I do remember him launching one clean out the ground at York in 94.

I can't recall HRK taking two penalties so his record is 100%. (I might be wrong)

Reading failing to score on two occasions from the spot before we finally scored one last season.

Rumpole I'm hoping we finally let Blackman take penalties.

I once (going back a few years) suggested that we should let one of our black players take a pen because the penalty apartheid going on at the club was a disgrace.

Somebody PMed me saying they were going to slit my throat the next time they saw me at a game

Let's add a caveat, must have taken at least 5 penalties in league and cup games not including penalty shoot outs.

Also, on the flipside of the original question, does anyone (Cube/strap) have any stats on our keepers and what their penalty saving record is like?

A fairly safe bet Deathy is at the top of the tree for this one.

Andreas Brehme scored penalties in two different World Cup finals, one with each foot.

If he's not the answer to your trivia question then he absolutely shits over whoever it is.

Ah righto, got you now.

Meh, have just discovered that I'm misinformed about this. Obv he scored a pen in the 1990 final, but he didn't score in the 1986 final. He took a penalty with his other foot in the 1986 quater-final though, so it's not too shabby.

I'm sure there are people out there who have taken more with their "wrong" foot, but surely nobody has put their ambidexterity to the test on such a stage as Brehme. Sterling work.

Andreas Brehme often used his weaker foot for penalties, also scored the 1990 world cup final winning penalty with his weak foot. You have to have nerves of oxf*rd steel to attempt that.

I do recall seeing Richie miss one (or rather have it saved). Great player, though, and a very good penalty taker.
