The problem was that Anton can see the same strange decisions we can. Loyalty to under performing players, the same non working tactics, the odd substitutions, the same inane comments in his post match interviews.

He was great for this club, but all good things come to an end.

Not a chance this is down to booing, people need to remember that football is a business. If AZ wants Reading to be a premiership club in the future, then Brian was not the right manager. This decision appears to be made for the long term success of the club, and whilst Brian is a lovely bloke, football is a ruthless game....Ask Di Matteo and Adkins!

Wycombe Royal has it spot on, sorry but the boos on saturday were (unfortunately) quite justified, he took our best midfielder off, then our best forward. No offence to Steve who did well coming on, but Guthrie should ahve started instead of Legs of Wood, and McCleary should have started instead on McEnough.

The 25 man squad is unfortunately full of "injured" players and some even out on loan, in fact I can rule out 10 almost straight away, so it doesnt look as if selection of a much different team for the remainder of the season is on the cards.

So whoever holds the helm, its not likely to change much unless new motivation can be installed.
