Completely agree with the sentiment, but to be honest, I'd settle for a performance that Nigel will be pleased with. For all the debate about whether or not McDermott should have been sacked, Adkins is now in charge and wants to get us playing in a different way. If we see the first green shoots of that tomorrow, I'll be satisfied.

Have to watch the game on TV tomorrow due to child care issues, so I hope I hear our fans getting right behind the team and not Saints fans all game.

I dunno, he was definitely training with all the players in and around the first team though. And looked to be keeping up.

Don't count your chickens......... and in terms of making an immediate and effective contribution to our PL survival, which was what was needed, he was a crock, waste of time, effort and money. Probably one of the factors that contributed to McDermott's sacking.
