Perhaps he's being a bit of a helmet with his contract, or maybe Morrison's put in the extra effort in training. Other than the Wigan game Morrison's done fine so I'm not too distraught if the reports are true, just shows that Pearce thinks he's above the club.

Pearce is not irreplaceable.

Morrison in champ along side Mapps will be an awesome partnership.

If he's being a bellend then he can piss off!

Not irreplaceable if being to big for his boots. For the most part we have a good replacement in Morrison waiting, both similar kind of defenders, more concerned about LB position this weekend if i'm totally honest, Shorey looked like he couldn't give a toss second half vs arsenal, Harte will get destroyed for pace.

Pearce had a bad game (even compared to the rest of the defence) against Arsenal. It could be just that

Agreed had a poor game at Arsenal, and not a good passer of the ball. Morrison has more of a goal threat, Pearce has not scored this season!

///and has missed loads of what looked like good chances from set pieces. usually failing to hit the target. Fouls too much in the opposition box as well

Two-edged.

1. If Pearce hasn't signed, his "moving-on" must affect his play and the morale of others.

2. Dropping him and playing Morrison is not that much of a difference, BUT Morro will be here next year, so play him for experience

It will be interesting to see if this happens, considering the criticisms McDermott got whenever he left him out!

So he didn't play McCarthy then didn't bring on ALF and has now dropped Pearce. It's becoming increasingly obvious Adkins has a massive grudge against anyone whose name begins AL.

Where will this madness end?!?

Morrison has scored a few. And Pearce is scary when he passes he hits it so hard at people

McDermott allegedly drops Pearce over his contract - "What's he doing? He's just holding a grudge because Pearcey hasn't signed a contract. He should play him as Pearcey is our best defender".

Adkins allegedly drops Pearce over his contract - "Well you can see where he's coming from, Pearcey isn't irreplaceable and he thinks he's above RFC".

When will this endless honeymoon period end for Adkins?

Pearce isn't irreplaceable. Morrison, though not quite there yet, looks like he could be a better defender. He wants to go, so it's only right you pick someone who wants to be here. Mariappa and Morrison for me today.

Mcdermott dropped pearce when we had a chance. We're now at the point where we don't really and it's all about next season rather than this. In which case it at least makes sense now even if I might not agreed.

The last two 11s do smack a bit of adkins still getting to know his squad.

Not sure about gunter in but pleased to see alf given a go upront on his own. Just to see how he'll do. Not sure about jem in. But akpan and guthrie is probably our best hope of using the ball in the middle.
