SJM - Minutes silence vs Liverpool

I haven't see a quote anywhere (?) but it's all over Twitter that he wants a minutes silence. Is he mad? That will be boo'ed, jeered, sung over by Liverpool fans, and I doubt the majority want to show their respects. By all means do so in your own private time, but don't mix politics with football.

Yeah that's what they're saying but is there a source? The fa have said no to the minutes silences, so he can't have one anyway!

Let,s not forget she was in power when the Heysel disaster happened and was fundamental in getting English clubs banned from Europe due to their disgusting behaviour and played a massive part into safer stadia in this Country.

let's leave politics to the politicians, this is about football and the beautiful game, this is where for 90 minutes we get lost in another world, we have the rest of the week to be subjected to the dirt of politics and real life - John don't do it out of respect for all us fans including the away supporters

Twix are you a plank or just niaive - Thatcher not only ripped the heart out of the north but tried t destroy liverpool and was involved in the Hillsborough cover up - do you really want to upset people that much? perhaps you are too young to remember! leave the politics to those who practice it and enjoy the football with friendly banter
