Which game have you enjoyed least/thought we were most sh*t for, and why? No smart*rses saying any of the games in our mini revival.

My top three would be:

1. Reading 0-3 Wigan - if we won that I reckon we'd be in with a shout of survival
2. Reading 5-7 Arsenal - Just embarrassing
3. Sunderland 3-0 Reading - Awful performance with no redeeming features. I was opposed to Brian's sacking both at the time and now, but if it was going to be done it should have happened then.

Southampton 1-0 Reading.

Piss poor performance, kept in a police bubble before the match.

This vote will always be biased towards home matches because so many more people go to them.

But for me Sunderland away was the real low point. Villa the week before had been bad, but this really was a team that didn't have a clue, and were there just to go through the motions and make the numbers up.

Absolutely dire - and that's not even not counting the refusal of Guthrie to travel and how far people had travelled to be there.

Southampton 1-0 Reading

Just because we offered absolutely nothing. I have never been more bored and frustrated at a game. We could barely string two passes together.

The 7-5 just for utter embarrassment! But like Ben said probably Southampton away, we were shocking, add the fact my nan had been taken into hospital a few days before made me lose my rag at a Saints fan.

It's a difficult one as sadly there have been so money!

Whilst I wouldn't normally be too bothered about a Capital One Cup game, I hink Reading 5-7 Arsenal is the main one that I'll remember in a few years time. That was just embarrassing being 4-0 up and then throwing it away in the way we did. I think that's possibly the worst I've felt after a Reading game this season.

The Southampton away game was also pretty awful, although sadly I wasn't too surprised. Wigan at home was a killer for us - after our recent good run, I'd hoped it could be put down to just a bad day at the office but the broader implications of Pogbrebnyak's suspension also affected us. Villa was also a tough day what with it being the final nail in our coffin really, throwing away another lead and the crowd turning on McDermott. I think I'll remember that one for a while.

3 worst ones, with 1 being the very worst:

1. Reading 5-7 Arsenal
2. Reading 1-2 Aston Villa
3. Reading 0-3 Wigan

we embarrassed them 1st half
they embarrassed us second half a little bit more

its an embarrassment point victory for them, but only just

id imagine its the closest weve ever come to beating an arsenal team in our entire history

I don't get how the Arsenal game was an embarrassment! It was 4-4 after 90 minutes, and we were playing Arsenal at the end of the day.

Your forgetting an England international forward scored a hat trick and also goals by fellow international players.

It was a great game to watch, in particular the 1st half

It was definitely great to watch, but how bad can it get to give away a 4-0 lead? We were 4-2 up as we approached the 90th minute, and then as we approached the 120th, we were at 5-5 and looking at Penalties. Cocked both of those up and you could see the spirit drain out of the players.

This - from the 3rd minute when the 1st goal went in, it felt like it was all over already

I've not been able to bring myself to post since Brian was sacked - but those two 3:0's were the pits for me. Cannot understand (given that he was sacked later) that he wasn't sacked then. The Reading Way would have been to stick with Brian. If there ever was a "Reading Way" we lost it when Anton decided to sack Brian a recruit wassisname. Cannot take the club seriously in the current state of limbo.

[PS - vs Sunderland I thought they looked the worst team we'd played and we were worse. And look at their change of fortune since.]

Exactly, the point when this season was surrendered, and we should have been planning for next season, (with Brian).
