I would like to see Blackman again with Le Fondre on instead of Pogs, apart from that, yeah.

I just want this season to be over now. The last few games have dragged. We have been down for a long time. Waiting for the final ax to fall has been painful. Then we have still to visit Fulham and endure the laughter at West Ham. Man City in between to give us a good pasting. Summer cannot come fast enough.

We may sneak a win today. The players owe us something because all season we have been turgid.

F*ck me, give the bloke a chance!

I remember posters on here saying Kebe looked like a more fragile version of Bambi on ice when he first started and now those same posters say he's the greatest man that ever lived...

And how much slagging off of Shane Long went on before his last season? Blackman could be the next Kebe or Long.

He could be - but on all the evidence I've seen so far I very much doubt it, and I've seen every second of his premier league career. He looks exactly what he is - a half-decent Tier 2 or Tier 3 player.

I'm afraid I've not seen the merest spark of potential for anything better with him - he simply looks out of his depth at this level (even more so than the other players).

(PS And, FTR, in 2006 I was calling it that Shane Long would be a better player than Kevin Doyle. Also Bas Savage was the one who was "Bambi on ice" - you're getting your insults mixed up.)

Phil McLolty

I bought a Sky Sports day pass. Reading vs. QPR followed by Arsenal vs. Utd in crisp HD for £9.99? beautiful. Much better than those crappy (albeit free) streams

Oh well. Not overly keen on Karacan and Blackman starting. But we played some niec stuff against Norwich and QPR are even shitter than them so maybe it'll pay off.

From the BBC match feed.

WHAT A DRAW MEANS - Reading v QPR (1330 BST)
Right, it seems there has been a bit of talk on Twitter saying that a draw would send both teams down today. This is why we believe not:

A draw today puts both QPR and Reading on 25 points.

If Wigan and Villa lose their next three games they will go into the final day on 32 and 34 points respectively.

If QPR and Reading would go into the final day on 31 points with another two wins.

With Wigan and Villa playing each other on the final day, only one of them could be overtaken by QPR and Reading.

What do we reckon? What have I missed?
