Blackburn away prediction thread

by floyd__streete » 22 Nov 2013 12:35

I'm sure we're all expecting an improvement after the result in our last away game.

Blackburn 4-2 Reading.

Got a good feeling about this one, Royston back in the team, couple of weeks rest, comfortable 2-2 draw.

All Rhodes lead to negativity.

Adkins has said Royston is still a long way from returning, same for Williams.

3-0 Blackburn but our attitude and application is excellent so we'll draw a blue line under it and move on to the next game.

Thought Royston had been backing in training for a few weeks now, surely he'll be in the squad? Legs is gonna be back in the first team before Roy at this rate

Christ, forgot Reading were still going. Err, 1-0 to Blackburn

Forget about Drenthe, he's just a fat little layabout. Get the likes of McAnuff back in the side.

We've never won at Ewood Park and have only ever beaten Blackburn once in our history, not that we've played them very often, just the 11 times. 20 goals in 5 games between the two teams (12-8 in Blackburn's favour) I'm backing us to continue our form against them, 3-1 defeat. All the more likely given our propensity to leak goals away, just the 9 clean sheets in 2 and a bit seasons (that's 54 away games), it's all pointing towards defeat for me.

Get on us in the Goals! Goals! Goals! though, we'll definately score.

I am not sure why else Nigel Adkins would want to travel to Lancashire...

Adkins: "...We're going away up to Lancashire, Blackburn are expected to be up there..."

He's a massive Beatles fan and wants to see if there are still 4000 holes to fill the Albert Hall.
