Fordham OUT

by mr_number » 19 Dec 2013 13:28

So, Jonny Fordham has just posted to twitter:
OK Tweeps, it's confession time. I've finally had enough of Reading. Who should I support instead? I'm leaning towards Arsenal. Thoughts?

Coming from someone with such a close relationship to and knowledge of the club, this speaks volumes, and probably sums up a lot of our feelings. I think Arsenal would be a good choice, particularly for me since I can walk to the ground. Which club do you think you'll switch to when the current regime inevitably grinds you down :?:

He's been digging for dirt on the football club every since he left GetReading, desperate to have a pop at them for some reason.

Anyway, Charles Watts >>> Fordham by a million miles.

Isnt the whole point of supporting a football club, be it Manchester United or Accrington Stanley is being through thick and thin with the club. I have a lot of respect for Jonny but a bit has been lost in this tweet.

Also can someone remind Jonny we are 5th in the league as hes on his way out.

Disagreed - I'd say that JF knew/knows a lot more but is now in a position where he doesn't have to have his head up the club's arse to keep his job.

I don't even follow Charles Watts on Twitter, that's how little I care.

I've just checked and apparently no, that is not the point at all.

He's been trolling Reading fans ever since leaving GetReading.

Pretty sure I saw him call Reading FC a joke club the other day as well so this is nothing new.

He did, and has also been DM'ing fans trying to get dirt on the club. Fair enough, he says he was hacked, but it wouldn't surprise me if that was just because of the abuse he got.. I lost count how many times he took a rumour off of football-rumours.com and stuck it in the post as someone we were interested in.

Fordham thing is a non story really. Reporter with nothing to report, stirs up own story shocker

RE OP:

I'm going to the Wigan game, but the rest of my family are off to watch Henley Town.

More fun & much better value, so I'm told... may end up agreeing with them come 4.50pm Saturday :|

...seriously ? Your folks are off to watch them @ Burnham Reserves on Sat PM? :?

I'd have thought for possible entertainment value round here that PM @ roughly that level : Binfield v Ascot or Wantage v Highmoor would be preferable

Fair play if they are genuine Henley fans though - not sure there were that many of them - I've only usually seen a small gaggle of their older fans at away matches.

- I may well be joining them on Monday eve @ Mill Lane when Henley are due to play at home to Chinnor :)

.... but I'm not quite ready to ditch RFC just yet - even though I'm finding the 'Adkins diet' increasingly unpalatable. :|
