Millwall (a) Match Thread Sponsored by Jugular brand blades

by Libertine » 01 Feb 2014 14:46

I guess I am the default starter of game threads when I'm here and no one else is around. I am wholly unqualified to pick sponsors though, give me a good one and I will add it to the thread title.

In team news the squad is unchanged.

Sponsored by "Knuckle dragging racist skinheads R Us" (by which I mean "them" of course).

Maybe a bit too OTT. Apologies to both the non-racist Millwall fans out there.

:?

It might be the norm amongst a good many of their fans. I think it is too long anyhoo. There is a finite number of characters available for thread titles...

Now, now mate. I would have been with you if we sold players in this past window so the soon to be departing owners could line their pockets on the way out of the door...thing is that didn't happen.

Don't encourage him...this is a game thread and not an ownership thread/internet food fight. That being said if I get many more people endorsing it I will add it to the title. Who am I to say...

You're right. take out the bit about "racists" and "R us" to lave "knuckle dragging skinheads" - does have a bit more of a ring to it! Although TBF my last time at the New Den was OK, the train back form South Bermondsey wasn't much fun, but could have been worse. Wasn't even insulted, let alone attacjked, but the atmosphere was most definitely "tense".

Happy daze! Recreation Ground at Aldershit early 70's was worst experience at an away ground. Anyway, back to the game ....

Sounds like they're having a good go at us. Lets hope they tire themselves out.

Yep...sounds like a very good beginning for the home team. This new found "good form" we have hopefully will start be exhibited away from home too. This is a team we should beat...

Millwall third from bottom. Anything other than a win would show we should not be happy with what we've got.

Fair enough. Last time we were away from home we dropped one to Ipswich 2-0. That was just fresher in my memory...
