Statues

With Arsenal unveiling another statue, this time of Dennis Bergkamp, outside the Emirates earlier today, which player would my illustrious hobnob friends like to see immortalised outside the Mad Stad ?

Robin Friday flicking a "V"

Obviously Robin would also be simultaneously kissing a policeman whilst doing a dump in Lawros kitbag.Quite remarkable

Should have a statue of SJM really, but I concur with the Steve Coppell votes.

Robin Friday
Steve Coppell

I'm against any calls for a statue of Sir John. He has the stadium and hotel named after him. I think that's more than enough!

The only statue today was Adam Le Fondre up front.

One of these would do nicely I reckon:

Maybe someone can photoshop into Bronze for full effect.

He did plenty of running. He never got out of Hanley's back pocket though!

Surely no doubt.

If a Player - Robin Friday

If a Manager - Stevie Coppell

More to the point, given all of our ups and downs recently, let alone the current uncertainty, Friday flashing his V-sign would be quality!

Friday's v-sign (and alleged dump that never happened) were both whilst playing for Cardiff (or at least the v-sign on the Super Furry Animals cover was).

He's probably our most "legendary" player, so would be the obvious choice (along with SSC). I'd go with the pose from the front of The Greatest Footballer...

Generally, I think statues would be better if they were action shots.

Moments I would like to see immortalised (sorry Leroy, statues can't float upside down...)

Didn't Friday once spit in Lawros mouth?
That would do nicely

Again, if it happened it was when he was playing for Cardiff.
