Huddersfield Prediction Thread

Come on then, let's see who feels optimistic?

They'll park the bus, time waste, hurt us on the break, and walk away making us look like a bunch of clueless half-arsed over-paid mugs. Not in the slightest bit optimistic, so we'll probably win it now just to prolong the agony a little longer. Anyway...

Reading 0 - 2 Huddersfield

Reading 1-2 Huddersfield

Not feeling great about this one. I think they'll take the lead, we'll panic and they'll end up getting another. Our '1' was more in hope than expectation.

Akpan thinks if we create a positive vibe we'll be OK.. Now we have an excuse for the quiet atmosphere, we'll all be busy meditating.

Quite simply. We score first we win. We don't score first we lose.

Unless its Nil Nil which my money is on.

I predict that for the second time this season - having barely missed a single home game for 15 years before this season - and despite having nothing much better to do I won't even bother to show up to watch a load of badly-managed delusional & self-important chavs go through the motions in front of 16,000-odd pillocks in the stands.

Enjoy yourselves.

Players will want to respond well to the embarrassment that was Tuesdays game, so, 1-3.

No but seriously, they'll respond, but not THAT well, unconvincing 2-1 win.

0-0 . 2 shots on target each. A turgid forgettable affair.

grey_squirrel Quite simply. We score first we win. We don't score first we lose.

Which is why Feds needs to be in goal on Saturday. It is clear that all of our opponents are now fully aware of the fact that McCarthy has lost it mentally when it comes to his distribution and are looking to exploit that. Furthermore, he is now starting to lose confidence when it comes to other aspects of his game. There have been quite a few instances recently where he has hesitated before deciding whether to come for the ball or not.

As for predictions - always so hard to call after such an appalling performance in the previous game. Were we playing away or against one of the top teams, I would go for a win. Against Huddersfield I fear a nervy low scoring draw and an angry crowd.

Being in the Feds camp now, I openly admit I wanted Alex before, but his confidence has gone now, I am dreading Sat to the point of finding an excuse not to go, I think Huddersfield will exploit Tues game and destroy us, 3 1 Hudds

What we should do then is stop f*cking about with laboured passing triangles involving the likes of Gorkss/Pearce/Gunter - all of them more Paolo Nutini than Paolo Maldini - then knocking the ball back to McCarthy under pressure when it is the one weakness of his game :!:

You'd hope that the manager might spot that little flaw in our (apparent) game plan.
