Good chance now - as I can see Forest beating Brighton and so we'd be through even if we don't win.

Yes.

I think Forest will draw and this is a great time to play Burnley who will have a hang over from being promoted. What have they to play for?

I've not been reading much on here recently, so I'm sure this has been said - but how the hell are we (potentially) four games from the Premier League with this shower of shite?

Incredible. Obviously, up for another Wembley appearance, but I think we'll make the play-offs and then lose in the semis.

They didn't have anything to play for today.....

Dyche has a strict no booze policy until all games done apparently. I voted no. :(

I will be happy just to make play-offs to be honest. Once we're there what will be, will be.

We'll go down at least 2-0 to burnley, with Brighton comfortably beating Forest.

I.e. No.

That's right, but I think the reality sunk in for them today after celebrating in front of their home fans. Well, I'm hoping anyway....

If I was Dyche I'd have a drink or three as he probably won't have a job at some point next season. Might as well enjoy it now Seaney boy.

TBF to Burnley I can't see them getting rid of Dyche. They never expected to go up this season. But you're spot on, generally over achieving in the chump is the kiss of death.

FWIW I can see Pearson being shown the door first out of the 3 promoted teams. Most Leicester fans wanted him gone at the start of the season. A few defeats on the spin & they'll be straight on his back.

Couldn't see Reading getting rid of miracle worker Brian McDermott but it happened.

Yes - I think BHA will draw and we won't lose, so we will end up 6th (Wigan will beat Brum on Tuesday night and will get 5th.

I think its less about Burnley and more about us. If we are a bunch of nervous nellies, Burnley will enjoy beating us. if we are positive and confident they will not worry about being beaten.

Will we do it ?

No doubt at all. Bring on whoever in the semis!! This is THE season. Up and down for the last 8 months, but this is OUR time. Look at Pearce, Obita, McCarthy etc...right up for it !!

Full house next Saturday. Smack Burnley. Then the lottery begins. But our patched up side will do it. Anton can watch from his Russian mansion whilst Reading legends such as Sir John, Pearce etc relish the day at Wembley.

It has been a weird season, but we are right in it.

Long week ahead waiting for next Saturday, but Reading are the team that you DON'T want to face in the playoffs !! Written off, injuries galore, some "fans!!" calling for protests, an AWOL chairman, but THIS IS READING. Never ever ever write us off !!

The only hope I have is that Brighton lose so we still get 6th TBH.

I cannot see us beating Burnley, I just can't. When did we last beat these b@stards anyway?! I went to Turf Moor & they were so well organised & effective. That was when we still had most of the team fit & the 'feel good' factor about us & even then on the day, they were far superior.

I don't buy into them being less motivated at all. A draw would be a bloody good result, but I don't reckon it will be enough.

I actually feel sick with nerves already but the good news is that our players are buzzing & bang up for it. We've also laid 2 demons to rest in the past week - finally getting a home win & finally getting 3 points after going behind.

I fancy our chances more than I did 2 weeks ago though.

There have been very few seasons over the last 15 that we haven't had something to play for on the last day of the season, and as much as I don't think we will do it, at least our match will mean something...

Although will be more than happy to eat my words....

Won two in a row. Nailed on for us to choke in the last game. It's tight though. Please not another defeat at Wembley, that's all I really care about.

Can't say I'm too fussed either way.
On balance a promotion might be for the best.
But reaching the Play-Offs certainly does not guarantee promotion...

Nail biter it ain't.
