Watford fans very gutted, were expecting upwards of £1m+ for him (one even suggested at least £4m...) but it looks like we've got him for £250k.

I'll admit I hadn't heard of him before the deal but the glowing reviews are very promising.

Another great signing. Real freshness with this squad. Exactly what Clarke was alluding too. Most exiting pre season and anticipation to watch a game than I can recall for a long time. Wondering how it's all going to come together.

This seems like a steal considering his age and the low fee we paid, I'm guessing he will be back up for Al-Habsi until he becomes our no1.

Very good signing, from what I've heard he's basically a very cheap Alex McCarthy. Very talented shot stopper and tall so can dominate the aerial battles but has a tendency to flap and lacks control of his box sometimes, his distribution is apparently very poor at times too

Bags of potential and hopefully game time will help iron out the issues and at that price you can't really go wrong! Very good work all round by RFC

Exactly and in Clarke's interview he mentioned how he should be getting more first team action to kick on... Wouldn't come here just to sit on our bench!
