How did their fans start supporting the club? Is there anyone who has been to every game? Is there a Paul Black of MK? Why do these people support MK?

I'm fascinated to see the breed of fan they will bring.

I detest franchise football and MK Dons should have started in non-league

However, to give them a little credit, the fans are almost exclusively home grown. Why do they support them - because they're locals and that's why fans should support a club IMO.

So before MK Dons were established who did they go and watch? Were they just armchair A*rsenal and Chelsea nobbers that have decided to go and watch that shower full time? It seems strange how they were 'recruited' and unfortunately Twitter wasn't around back then to divulge into the nitty gritty which it's so useful for now.

I used to work in and around Milton Keynes a few years back (before MK Dons existed). The majority of people I got to know were predominantly Luton or Coventry supporters. There were a few Utd, Arse, Chelski etc, etc but that's the same in every town . I must admit Luton and Coventry were more high profile than they are now, so maybe the population are more prepared to follow the local team as a result.

Used to work with a Northampton Town ST Holder. He really hated them and said they took quite a bit of support away from the Cobblers.

The large proportion of the original support is from non-MK fans being the fathers/mothers of the kids that want to go to their local team. Since then some of the locals (including a Palace fan neighbour) have started to go more regularly, possibly not as fans, but just because football is on locally.

Beating Manure 4-0 won't have been a bad thing either.

The good news is that neither mini-Franchises are Dons fans - the bad news is that no.2 is a Chelsea fan (I'm sure he can't be mine)

If the people of Miltom Keynes wanted league football, maybe they should have supported Wolveton Town (their local team) through the pyramid.
