Comments

Cardiff's Brazilian full back Fabio will miss the game through injury as will Idriss Saadi. Kagisho Dikgacoi is doubtful and Peter Whittingham is suspended. However Kenwynne Jones has just returned from injury.

Cardiff are currently finding it difficult to score with just an own goal to show for their efforts in the last 535 minutes of football. However they are equally very difficult to score against.

Reading have never won a league game at the Cardiff City Stadium and have failed to win any of their last 5 league visits to Cardiff (D3, L2).

Between 1947 and 1982 Reading did not play any league games against Cardiff City

Reading have not lost at Cardiff in any FA Cup game but have lost both League Cup games played there in the 60s by 10-2 on aggregate.

Wittingham being suspended is a bonus, he is always immense against us.

I am quite confident about this game.

We were poor at Fulham after being comfortable. We were OK against a solid Brighton and got a fair point, and although I admit I didn't go, it sounded like we were awful on Tuesday night, although at least we got a point.

But, I think that we will be there or thereabouts this season. Of course, we won't win every game and we will see some poor results, but I can see this game being the reaction to some poor performances and results. There should be a large away following and I think we will nick it by the odd goal.

Our run of wins earlier in the season has given a few fans possibly unrealistically high expectations, but I think we will find enough to get a result here, and could kick on from it quite nicely.

If you read CCMB, then they seem to think they are pretty awful. Away win. I'm going. Good day out.
